INSPECTIONS

Which inspection is right for your situation?

Inspection and Inspection Plus+

The inspection of indoor sports floors will give you an insight into the physical condition of your floor. As the manager or person responsible for sports floors, you want athletes to be able to play sport safely on them. A floor inspection enables you to demonstrate that the safety of athletes is a priority to you, amongst other things. For added peace of mind, the Inspection Plus+ will give you an idea of when you will need to start to think about replacing your sports floors. However, we believe that an extensive inspection - with all of the additional costs and equipment this involves - is not necessary for newer floors.

We are pleased to be able to offer a choice of two inspections for these floors, both of which are in compliance with the requirements of EN 14904.

The Field Tester

Buying a sports floor is a major investment. So, you’ll want to be able to benefit from an investment like this as long as possible, both financially and in terms of playing characteristics. This requires correct maintenance, of course, but how do we monitor both maintenance and playing characteristics?  The Field Tester measures shock absorption, vertical deformation and energy restitution too, if necessary. If this is followed up with appropriate regular maintenance, you will extend the lifespan of yo

The inspection Plus+

If you have an older sports floor, you might like to opt for the Inspection Plus+. The first and foremost requirement of any sports floor is for it to help users avoid injuries. Whether professional or recreational, users may not be exposed to any sudden or major strain to their musculoskeletal system. Older floors gradually lose their shock absorption, which is why we measure shock absorption (EN 14808) as part of the Inspection Plus+.
